Bernice O. Winson

Bernice O. (Shaw) Winson of Stoneham, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2008, surrounded by her family, at age 87.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest N. Winson. Bernice was the devoted mother of Norman Winson and his wife Bonnie of Woburn, John Winson and his wife LauraLee Johnson of Boston, Gene Winson of Stoneham. She was the cherished grandmother of Timothy Winson, Jennifer Vigeant, Stephen Winson, Michael Winson and his wife Christine, Andrew Winson. Bernice was the loving great grandmother of Samantha, Benjamin and Rachel. She was the dear sister of Ella Kirmes of Maine and the late Edna Buontempo and Robert Shaw. Bernice was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
She was an active member of Maplewood Baptist Church in Malden, where the library she so lovingly nurtured was named for her.
A Memorial Service will be held at the above named Church on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 2pm.
