Bridgie B. Dicrescenzo

DiCRESCENZO, Bridgie B. (Buonanno) of Stoneham, September 26, 2011 at age 94. Devoted mother of her son and daughter-in-law Paul and Rosalie DiCrescenzo. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Service celebrating Bridgie's Life in Unitarian Church, 239 Woburn St., Reading at 10 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday from 4-8 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Her education included degrees from Boston University, Harvard University Extension School, and Northeastern University. Her career highlights include working as a metallurgist statistician during World War II, and being both a medical research coordinator and the medical librarian for Boston's VA Outpatient Clinic, where she worked for over 42 years and helped many veterans apply for and receive the benefits they had earned."
