Burton Joseph Quimby

Burton Joseph Quimby, formerly of Reading, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at age 86. Beloved husband of the late Catherine A. (Buckley) Quimby. Loving father of Burton Joseph Quimby Jr.and his wife Lorraine, Edward Quimby and his late wife Teresita, Kathleen Tompkins and her husband Jeffrey, and Joanne Quimby and her partner Emily Bowman. Cherished grandfather of Kegan and Alden Quimby, Greg Gilmore, Catherine Quimby, and Meredith, J.T. and the late Neal Tompkins. Loving brother of Melvin Quimby, the late Shirley Beattie, and the late Rose Marie LaRocque. Devoted son of the late Burr and Rose Quimby.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Burton's family in the Doherty-Barile Funeral Home, 11 Linden St READING, on Wednesday evening, July 25th from 4-6pm. Parking attendants are available.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Burton's Eternal Life will be celebrated at St. Agnes Church, 187 Woburn St., Reading, on Thursday, July 26th, 2018 at 11:00am.

Interment will be in Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
