Carl F. DeSisto

Carl F. DeSisto of Stoneham passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at his home. He was 74 years of age.

Carl was born on September 24, 1942 in Somerville. He was the loving son of the late Carlo DeSisto and Giovania (Santoro) DeSisto. Carl was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who were privileged to have known him.

Carl was the beloved husband for 49 years of Margaret (Palmitesta) DeSisto. He was the devoted father of Nicole M. VanBost and her husband Thomas and Carla A. DeSisto. The cherished grandfather of Hailey VanBost, Cameron VanBost, Benjamin VanBost, Connor Gangi and Jackson Gangi, Carl was the dear brother of Concetta Trani, Anne Johnedis, Rosemary Stone, Paul DeSisto and the late Pasquale, Catherine, Salvatore, Joseph and Carmen. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM on Tuesday, May 23rd at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Carl's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Monday, May 22nd from 5-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
