Carl B. Drauschke of Reading, formerly of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers. He was 59 years of age.





Born in Medford, Carl was the loving son of Constance E. (Browne) Drauschke of Medford and the late Paul W. Drauschke. Carl was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.





Carl was a dedicated Inspector for General Electric for many years. He was an avid reader and gardener. He loved fishing. Carl's true love was for his family. They were first and foremost in his life. His love for them went unparalleled. Carl enjoyed his time supporting the Reading Memorial High School Band and coaching Babe Ruth Baseball in Medford and Reading.





Carl was the beloved husband of Debra A. (Dow) Drauschke. He was the devoted father of Kristy A. and Erik W. Drauschke. Carl was the dear brother of Paul W. Drauschke III and his wife Yvonne of Maine, Frederick M. Drauschke and his wife Barbara of Melrose, Ronald B. Drauschke, and Elizabeth "Betsy" A. Burns and her husband Kenneth, all of Medford. Carl was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and his cats Muffin and Biscuit.





A Funeral Service celebrating Carl's life will be held on Saturday at 11am in the First Baptist Church, 29 Oakland St. MEDFORD. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm in the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING.
