Carmelina (Del Vecchio) "Lina" Bergin

Carmelina (Del Vecchio), "Lina" Bergin, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2017. She was 49 years of age.

Born on July 9, 1967 in Boston, Lina was the cherished daughter of Domenico and Maria (Contardo) Del Vecchio. Lina was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lina was a dedicated real estate broker for several years. She loved her family. They were first and foremost in her life.

Lina was the beloved wife of Thomas G. Bergin. She was the devoted and loving mother of Thomas Joseph Bergin, David Domenic Bergin, Matthew Carmen Bergin and Olivia Marie Bergin. The dear sister of Maria Grazia Del Vecchio and Anna Del Vecchio, Lina is survived by her father-in-law, as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Monday, February 27th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Lina's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Sunday, February 26th from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator available. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
