Carmella J. (Falardo) Cioffi of Somerville passed away on July 11, 2013 in Stoneham. She was 86 years of age.
Born in Boston, Carmella was the loving daughter of the late Carmen and Mary (Villella) Falardo.
Carmella was a warm and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be sadly missed.
Carmella was the beloved wife of the late Sabino Cioffi. She was the devoted mother of Maria Melanson and her husband Jimmy and Carmen Cioffi. Carmella was the cherished grandmother of Sonia Johnson, Sabino Cioffi, Michael Cioffi and Miranda Melanson and adoring great grandmother of Emma and Gracie Johnson. She was the dear sister of Rita Hoff, Lillian Haas and the late Phyllis D'Agresta. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Carmella's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 3-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
