Carmela M. (Lentini) DiChiara

Carmela M. (Lentini) DiChiara, of Stoneham, passed away on Friday February 24th at home with her
family by her side.

Carmela was born in Hyde Park, Massachusetts on July 18 th , 1929 she grew up in East Boston where she graduated High School and married George DiChiara who was in the Air Force . They traveled the world and had four children.

Carmela loved to bake, garden, and took pride in her home. Most important to her was her Faith and she was devout in her prayer life. She always sacrificed for the needs of her family.

Carmela is the beloved wife of the late George DiChiara. She is the cherished mother of Edward DiChiara, Lisa Palmere and her husband Peter, Lori DiChiara, and David DiChiara and his wife Alicia. Loving grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 7. Dear sister of the late Joseph Lentini, Mary Romano the late Guy Lentini and his late wife Theresa and the late Anthony Lentini and his surviving wife Victoria.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM on Friday March 3rd, 2023 at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Carmela's Eternal Life in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10 am. Interment Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with her family on Thursday March
2nd, 2023 from 4 pm to 8 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
