Carmen A. Cioffi

Carmen A. Cioffi passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.  He is 64 years of age.

Born on Monday, September 23, 1957 in East Boston, Carmen is the loving son of the late Sabino Cioffi and Carmella (Falardo) Cioffi.  Carmen is a warm, gentle and kind son, brother, father, grandfather and friend who will be truly missed.

Carmen is the beloved father of Michael Cioffi, Sabino Cioffi and Sonia Johnson and her husband Eric.  The cherished grandfather of Emma and Gracie Johnson, he is the dear brother of the late Maria Melanson and the former husband of Maria (Squillante) Barletta.

Carmen loved his dear family and the Lord our God. He gave his wisdom and advice as a man of God's word, and shared his gentle touch with all who knew him.

Carmen spent his childhood and teenage years in love with electronics and cars. His 1984 Chrysler Laser was hard to miss on the street. An engineer at heart, Carmen made sure to give you custom made gadgets, the ones you would never find on the store shelf. It made for a collective smile and cultivated genuine friendships.

In his later years, Carmen would be the first to tell you his keen taste for Italian food, and his adoration of his three children.  His unbeatable plate combo consisted of linguini with meatballs, followed by a touch of carrot cake, and ending whisked away with a cup of classic hazelnut coffee.
