Carmen A. Gregorio, of Wakefield, passed away on Thursday May 3, 2007 at the Sunbridge Nursing Home in North Reading. He was 86 years old.
Born in Wakefield Carmen was a life long resident of Wakefield. He was a member of the Wakefield Elks. Carmen was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf in the spring and summer months. He loved sports, especially baseball and football.
Carmen proudly served our Country as a member of the United States Army in World War II.
Carmen was the beloved husband for 63 years of Violet (Buonarosa) Gregorio. He was the loving father of Diane Wyshak and her husband Michael of Tewksbury and the late Carol Buckley. Carmen was the cherished grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 8. He was the dear brother of Samuel and Henry Gregorio, Mary Tecce and the late Lana Lapery, Frank, Alfred and John Gregorio.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM on Monday at 9am following a Funeral Mass Celebrating Carmen's Life in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St. Wakefield at 10am.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours on Sunday 3-7pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
