Carol A. (Divico) Schmiz of Everett, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Saturday April 6, 2013. She was 71 years of age.
Born in Newton, Carol was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Marjorie (Munroe) Divico. Carol was a warm and caring daughter, sister, mother, Nonnie, and friend. She will be sadly missed.
Carol was the devoted mother of Jennifer Rogala and her husband Scott and Jean DiPhillipo and her husband Stephen. She was the loving Nonnie of Nico DiPhillipo, Gia DiPhillipo, Jillian Rogala and Samantha Rogala. Carol was the dear sister of Barbara Griffin, Donna Allen and her husband Ray, Marjorie Mineau and her husband Real, Debbie Kay and her husband Paul, Elaine Orser and her husband Tom, Lorraine Handley and her husband David and Joanne Nevells and her husband Ted. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Carol's life will be held on Thursday at 12pm in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Wednesday April 10, 2013 from 6-8pm and Thursday April 11, 2013 from 10-12pm, prior to the service, in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
