Carol A. (Sveistys) Sprague

Carol A. (Sveistys) Sprague of North Billerica passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026. She is 90 years of age.

Born on Monday, February 17, 1936 in Boston, Carol is the loving daughter of the late Casmar Sveistys and Annette L. "Louise" (Tuttle) Sveistys. Carol is a warm, kind, gentle and loyal daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be truly missed.

Carol graduated from New England Deaconess Hospital in 1957, working as a nurse and case manager for over 50 years. Carol grew up in Stoneham, raised her family in Reading before moving to Florida and returning to Massachusetts after she retired. Carol enjoyed shopping, gardening, reading, completing puzzles, and doting on her cat Mittens. 

Carol is the beloved wife of the late Robert G. Sprague. She is the devoted mother of Wendy L. Sprague and the late R. Scott Sprague. The cherished grandmother of Austin Sprague, Devon Sprague and Madeline Abell, Carol is the dear sister of Joy Stevens.

Family and friends are cordially invited to a graveside ceremony celebrating Carol's life on Friday, March 20th at 12:30pm at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St. Peabody, MA 01960.
