Gilmore, Catherine Anne, age 63, most recently of Jupiter Island, FL, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. She was born in Malden, MA, and was raised in North Reading and Arlington, MA. She graduated from Arlington High School. Catherine attended Cardinal Cushing College in Brookline, MA transferring after her sophomore year to St. Michael's College in Winooski, VT where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973. In 1975, Catherine began an over 20-year career in telecommunications starting with New England Telephone in Massachusetts followed by positions of increasing responsibility at AT&T in New Jersey, Massachusetts and California. During one of her New Jersey assignments, Catherine entered the Columbia University Executive MBA Program under AT&T sponsorship and earned her degree in 1997. After retiring from AT&T, Catherine started her own consulting firm, Turning Point Performance, specializing in the Contact Center industry, providing training and design expertise to a variety of clients in the US and abroad.

Catherine is survived by her sister, Jean Sideris and her husband Nick of North Reading, MA, her two beloved nephews, Michael and Brian Sideris, and by Thomas F. Guthrie of Sea Bright, NJ, her former husband and trusted friend.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St. and Rte. 28) North Reading at Reading line on Sunday Feb. 9 from 4-8pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday Feb.10 at 10:30am in St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St. North Reading. Interment will be private. Please omit flowers.
