Catherine P. (Lauria) Tango of Malden passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Epoch Senior Healthcare in Melrose. She was 73 years of age.
Born in Boston, Catherine was the loving daughter of the late Luigi Lauria and Philomena (Schiarrino) Lauria. Catherine was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.
Catherine was a dedicated seamstress for Mario Sports Wear for many years. She was devoted to her family. They were first and foremost in her life.
Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Albert Tango. She was the devoted mother of Kathryn Iandolo of Malden and Marcia P. Gelin of Saugus. Catherine was the cherished grandmother of 6 and the dear sister of Mary Belmonte and Guy Lauria.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Catherine's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Wednesday 6-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
