Charles J. Cammarata

March 3, 1916 — January 14, 2007

Charles J. Cammarata of Stoneham formerly of Somerville passed away Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Harborside Healthcare Center, Wakefield. He was 90 years of age.



Born in Boston, Charlie was the son of the late John and Angela (D'Aquila) Cammarata. He was an Inspector for the Registry of Motor Vehicles for many years. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving our Country during World War II. Charlie loved going to the Stoneham Senior Center and playing cards with his friends. He was a wonderful family man, enjoying his time with his nieces and their families.



Charlie was the loving uncle of Karen Wepasnick, Leslie Bowe and the late Gary Curtis. He was the great uncle of Sean and Shayla MacDonald and Kimberly Wepasnick. He was the dear brother of the late Salvatore Cammarata, Josephine Curtis and Anna Cammarata.



Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Charlie's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Wednesday, 3-7 pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
