Charles M. “Charlie” Doucot III of Peabody, formerly of Stoneham and Malden, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Charlie was the beloved husband of Angela Rita Doucot.
Born in Chelsea, Charlie was the loving son of the late Charles M. Doucot Jr. and the late Catherine Doucot. Charlie spent his teen years living with his dad and his step mother Vera Doucot, residing on Commercial Wharf Boston. Also survived by his sister Louise Flanagan of Peabody.
The Brandano Family of Revere have been Charlie’s second family since he was a youngster. The late Peter Brandano, his best man, and his sons: Bobby, Vinny, Jimmy, Paul, Rickie, and the late Peter Jr. were and are Charlie’s family.
He was the devoted father of Charles M. Doucot IV and his wife Darlene, Christopher J. Doucot and his wife Jackie Allen-Doucot, Matthew M. Doucot and his wife Mena and Daniel L. Doucot and his wife Ann. The cherished grandfather of Danielle Doucot Jordan and her husband Connor, Gabrielle Doucot, Micah Doucot, Ammon Doucot, Jonathan Doucot and his fiancé Sarah Strauch, Matthew Doucot, Joseph Doucot, Nicholas Doucot, Noah Doucot, Leah Doucot and Adam Doucot.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Charlie’s Family on Wednesday, May 10th from 4-7pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available. A Funeral Mass Celebrating Charlie’s Eternal Life will be held on Thursday, May 11th at 10am in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street STONEHAM. Please gather directly at the church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Charlie by taking a friend out to lunch.
