Charles F. Donahoe

Charles F. Donahoe of Stoneham, formerly of Woburn passed away on Wednesday, September 06, 2006 at Wingate Nursing Home in Reading. He was 82 years of age.





Born in Winchester, Charles was the beloved son of the late Patrick W. Donahoe and Katherine M. (Mahoney) Donahoe. Charles was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed.





Charles was a dedicated Mechanical Engineer for Cooper Tools for many years. He loved to golf. During World War II, Charles proudly served our country in the United States Navy. Charles' true passion was for his family. They were first and foremost in his life. He had a divine love for them that went unparalleled.





Charles was the beloved husband of the late Mary T. (O'Brien) Donahoe. He was the devoted father of Stephen Donahoe and his wife Paula of Maine, Laurence Donahoe of Methuen, Kathleen Howe and her husband Michael of Stoneham, Eileen Sarcone and her husband Joseph of Haverhill, Carol Fitzpatrick and her husband James of Sandwich. Charles was the cherished grandfather of Kevin, Suzanne and Timothy Howe, James and Kelly Fitzpatrick, Terry Ballard and Matthew Donahoe. He was the dear brother of William P. Donahoe of Stoneham and the late Robert J. Donahoe. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Charles' life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Friday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
