CHARLES E. LYNCH

Charles E. Lynch of Stoneham passed away on Wednesday July 3, 2002. He was 82 years of age.

Born in Norwalk Connecticut, Mr. Lynch was a resident of Stoneham for 50 years.

Charles had many hobbies he enjoyed. He loved gardening and traveling. He enjoyed summer vacations in Maine. He loved being with people. His warm and friendly smile reflected the wonderful friendships he made over the years. He will be missed by all.

Charles was very active within the Eagle Scouts. He was the Scout Master in Stoneham. He also was a Sergeant of the Army in World War II.

Charles was the beloved husband of Jean M. (McLaughlin) Lynch. He was the devoted father of Charles E. Jr. and his wife Jacalyn of Maine, John R. and his wife Diane of New Hampshire and Sharon A. Federico and her husband Edward of Massachusetts. Charles was the dear brother of Evelyn Hunter of Florida. He was the cherished grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 3.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours at the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (Rte. 28) STONEHAM on Sunday 4-6 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 2pm at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Peabody.
