Charles A. Taylor

January 30, 1922 — December 7, 2004

Charles A. Taylor Jr. of Reading passed away on Tuesday December 7, 2004 at Winchester Hospital.





Born in Reading, Charles was the beloved son of the late Charles A. Taylor and Anna (Anderson) Taylor. Charles was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be missed by all.





Charles was a dedicated custodian for the Reading School Department for many years. He was a devoted member of the Reading V.F.W. Post 685 and American Legion Post 62. During World War II, Charles proudly served our country in the United States Navy.





Charles was the beloved brother of Eleanor Taylor, Theodore Taylor, Laurance Taylor and Thelma C. Jordan. He was the dear uncle of William Jordan and Lawrence Jordan and the loving cousin of Martha, Barbara and Laura Bund.





Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Thursday from 6-8pm in the Joseph Doherty Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Reading Friday at 10am.
