Charlotte M. (Griffin) Placido of Reading passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in North Reading. She was 95 years of age.
Born in Winchester, Charlotte was the loving daughter of the late John J. and Margaret (Dulong) Griffin. Charlotte was a warm and caring daughter, wife, sister and aunt. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Charlotte was the beloved wife of the late George Placido. Dear sister of John Griffin and his wife Priscilla, Robert Griffin and his late wife Dorothy, Blanche Cantrell and her late husband Dennis and the late Kathleen Richards and her late husband Henry. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service celebrating Charlotte's life will be held on Saturday, August 17 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Saturday, August 17 from 10-11am in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and handicapped entrance are available. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
