Christopher M. Barbera

Christopher M. Barbera, of Chelmsford, formerly of Stoneham, passed away on Thursday August 28th, 2024. He was 56 years of age. 

Christopher battled Cerebral Palsy his entire life. In his early years, he endured intensive physical therapy with the help of family, neighbors and local parishioners. He possessed a great sense of humor and always had a smile on his face. He would comically call himself Bob. He enjoyed time with his family, and Face Timed with them daily. He was under the care of Seven Hills Foundation since he was 22. There he was surrounded by dedicated people who saw to his every need. They became life long friends.

Christopher is the beloved son of Janice (Archiprete) Barbera and the late Joseph J. Barbera. Christopher is the loving brother of the late Joey Barbera, Stephen Barbera and his wife Gail, Michael Barbera and his wife Susan, Denise Miles and her husband Kenneth, Scott Barbera and his wife Lisa, Richard Barbera and his wife Diana. Devoted uncle of Shannon Moore and husband Zack, Anthony Barbera, Michael Barbera and his wife Diana Haug, Jeffrey Miles, Stephanie Dearmin and her husband Andrew, Ashley Barbera, Daniel Miles, Nicholas Barbera, Jessica Barbera, Gina Barbera, and Matthew Barbera. Great uncle of ZJ Moore, Emma Dearmin, Lois Moore, Lucia Barbera and Miles Dearmin.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM on Thursday September 5th, 2024 at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Christopher's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. 

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Wednesday September 4th, 2024 from 5 pm to 7 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
