Claire L. (Roy) Carroll

Claire L. (Roy) Carroll of Methuen, formerly of Stoneham passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, April 28, 2024.  She is 92 years of age.

Born on Wednesday, October 21, 1931 in Boston, Claire is the loving daughter of the late Leon Roy and Veronica (Ford) Roy.   Claire is a warm, loyal, kind and gentle daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed.

Claire is the beloved wife of the late Joseph Hyde Sr. and the late Philip Carroll.  She is the devoted mother of Joseph Hyde and his partner Carol Harrie, William Hyde and his wife Francine Samaras Hyde, Maria Wizboski and her husband Francis Wizboski Sr. and the late Thomas Hyde.  The cherished grandmother of Kenneth Beaulieu and his wife Emily, Francis Wizboski Jr., John Wizboski, Johanna Claire Wizboski, Shannon Hyde and Joseph Hyde III, Claire is the doting great grandmother of Juniper Beaulieu.  Claire is the dear sister of the late Albert Roy, the late Edward Roy, the late Rita Koogle and the late Veronica Davis.  She is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, friends and her brother-in-law Charles “Charlie” Carroll.  Claire is predeceased by her in-laws, the late Walter Carroll, the late Joan Machado, the late John Carroll, the late Maggie Carroll and the late Evelyn Carroll.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM Monday, May 6^th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Claire’s Eternal Life in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham at 10am.  Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Claire’s Family on Sunday, May 5^th from 3-7pm in the Funeral Home.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.  Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
