Gibson, Clifford J. "Gibby" Jr. –of Reading, Oct. 31 at his home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Flaherty). Loving father of Maureen Pick and her husband Donald of Pepperell; Carolyn Wynn and her husband James of NH; Kevin Gibson and his wife Pamela of Tewksbury; Paula Veno and her husband Edward of SC and Michael Gibson and his wife Maria of Reading. Son of the late Clifford and Margaret Gibson. Adored grandfather of Donald, Alice, Ashley, Lauren, Kyle, Jaclyn, Bridget, Hannah and Jimmy. Brother of the late Robert Gibson and Rita Thomas. Brother-in-law of Robert Flaherty and his wife Nonie of West Roxbury. Clifford is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Clifford's funeral will begin on  Wednesday Nov. 4th at 9:30am from the funeral home.His funeral Mass will be held  in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 10:30am. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8pm. Interment Wood End Cemetery, Reading. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clifford's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, 150 Cambridge Park Drive, Suite 202, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02140. Clifford enjoyed all types of sports. He was a letter carrier in Reading for 42 years, extremely dedicated to his family, very generous to many charities, lifelong resident of Mudville and was voted best athlete in his senior year of high school. Clifford was a lifelong parishioner of St. Agnes Church in Reading and served as an altar boy when he was young.  Clifford was a proud veteran serving in the US Army during the Korean War.
