Concetta J. (Bordinaro) Mantia, of Stoneham, formerly of Medford passed away on Friday, November 16, 2001 at Winchester Nursing Center, Winchester.
Born in Boston , Mrs. Mantia was a resident of Stoneham for the past 15 years.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her love for her family was first and foremost in her life.
Concetta was the wife of the late Paul J. Mantia. She was the mother of Mary Auriemma and her husband Paul of Stoneham, Anna May Panetta and her husband Thomas of Stoneham, Paul Mantia of Reading and Stephen Mantia of Revere. She was the grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was the sister of Antoinetta Faro, Josephine Mantia, Rose Marotta all of Winthrop, Mary Bonacorso of Stoneham, Domenick Bordinaro of Saugus and the late James, Joseph, Salvatore Bordinaro and Angelina Pustizzi-Scarpo.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, November 18th 5-8 p.m. in the the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (Rte. 28) STONEHAM. A Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. STONEHAM on Monday at 9 a.m. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
