Concetta "Connie" Monaco died peacefully on January 23, 2018 at the age of 85, surrounded by all her loved ones at the Sutton Hill Center in North Andover, MA, after living a full and blessed life. Connie was a warm and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many and she will be deeply missed.
She cherished being with family and grandchildren, whether it be celebrating holidays, going to kids' school events, or spending one on one time at everyone's homes surrounded by good food, laughter, and hugs. Although her greatest passions were family and friends, she also enjoyed working for more than 20 years as both a medical assistant for several doctors and as a secretary at Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Connie was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, involved in lots of social clubs, and was well known throughout the Medford community.
In 1956, Connie married the love of her life Woody Monaco, and raised a family of five children, in Medford, and then went on to welcome and commit her expanded heart to her fifteen incredible grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to leaving behind her husband, she also leaves behind her daughter, Christina Quill and her husband John, Regina Hutchinson and her husband John, her son, John A. "Johnny" Monaco, and her daughter Carla Moriarty and her husband Jim. She also will join her late son, Joey Monaco, in her eternal life.
Connie would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, a sort of an offer you can't refuse, for a celebration from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge 'white light' WELCOME sign, no strings attached, and a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time.
