Corrine Blomquist

Corrine "Connie" Blomquist age 82 of Reading, formerly of Arlington and Juno Beach, Florida peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in Jupiter, FL. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) for 37 years. Loving mother of Joseph Vaughan, and his wife Dianne, the late Michael Vaughan and his wife Maureen, and Mark Vaughan, and his wife Brenda. Stepmother of Karen, Alan and Susan Blomquist and her husband James Clayton. Dear Sister of Edmund Babin, and his wife the late Genevieve, and the late Joseph P. "Sonny" Babin Jr. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Connie was born and raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School in 1949. She worked for 27 years as an executive assistant for Polaroid Corporation in Waltham.





She enjoyed spending Summers in Harwichport for many years, traveling with her husband, spending time at the beach, and above all, being with her family, grandchildren and friends.





Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Wednesday from 4-8pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. A Funeral Ceremony to celebrate and honor Connie's life will be held at 7:15 pm. Burial will be private.
