Cynthia A. (Deal) McArthur

Cynthia A. (Deal) McArthur, beloved wife of the late Peter J. McArthur, passed away on Tuesday, March 12th, 2019 at her home at the age of Born in Medford, she is the loving daughter of the late Franklin C. and Pearl E. (Moore) Deal.

Cynthia grew up in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School. She resided in Reading for the past 30 years. Cynthia worked for many years as a service manager at New England Telephone in Boston. She enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach, especially Plum Island in Ipswich.

Cynthia is the cherished niece of Lawrence R. Deal and his wife Edna. Loving sister of the late Frederick R. Deal. Beloved cousin of Glenn Deal and his wife Laura, Janis Cooper, Karen Mullin and her husband Greg and Gary Deal and his wife Davilee. She is also survived by many extended family members.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Cynthia's Eternal Life will be held at the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (Rt. 28) Stoneham on Tuesday, March 19th, 2019 at 10am.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Cynthia's Family at the funeral home on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 5 to 8pm.

Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
