Daniel R. Mancini of Stoneham formerly of Revere passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Winchester Hospital. He was 88 years of age.
Born on October 28, 1925 in Boston, Daniel was the loving son of the late Pasquale Mancini and Sarafina (DiTillio) Mancini. Daniel was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all who were privileged to have known him.
Daniel was a dedicated owner of Reliable Tile for which he owned for over 60 years. He was a US Air Force Veteran during World War II, which he was very proud of. Daniel was a passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
Daniel was the beloved husband of Constance (Longo) Mancini for 59 years. He was the father of Deborah Molle and her husband David and Tricia Parrelli and her husband Allan. The grandfather of David and his wife Jessica, Danielle and her husband David Crafa, Kristina and Allan, he was the great grandpapa of Brody Crafa. Daniel was the brother of John Mancini and his wife Audrey, Mary DeThomas and Evelyn Pappadinis. He was predeceased by Anthony Mancini.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Monday, April 28, 2014 at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Daniel's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 3-7 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment with Military Honors Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
