Daniel Oliveira

Daniel Oliveira, of Stoneham, formerly of North Reading, passed away peacefully on Monday September 21, 2026 with his family by his side. He was 80 years of age.

He served in the army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He retired as a civilian from Hanscom Air Force Base.  He especially loved working in the yard gardening and taking care of his lawn. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Everyone that knew him, loved him.

Daniel is the beloved husband of Suzanne (Hutchinson) Oliveira. He is the cherished father of Cheryl Thomas and her late husband Christopher, Danielle O'Neal, and Dan Oliveira and his wife Catherine. Loving grandfather of Courtney Thomas, Michael O'Neal, Casey O'Neal, Daniel Oliveira, Dylan Oliveira, and Deanna Oliveira.Great grandfather of Ariana and Savannah Rainho. Dear brother of Robert Oliveira and his late wife Maureen, Marie Schneider and her husband Terry, Linda Lindsay and her husband Verl and the late Charlie Oliveira, Eleanor Saul and Marguerite Smith. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Saturday September 26th, 2026 from 8:30 am to 10:30am in the Barile Cota Family Funeral Home 335 Park St. North Reading followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Daniel's Eternal Life in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 11 am. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, North Reading.
