Daniel C. Schmidt

Daniel C. Schmidt of Framingham and a longtime former resident of Wakefield, Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025.  He is 71 years of age.

Born on Tuesday, October 5, 1954 in Melrose, Daniel is the loving son of the late Paula Marie (Quinn) Schmidt and the late Edmund J. Schmidt and his surviving wife Barbara Schmidt.  Daniel is a warm, kind, gentle & loyal son, brother, step brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed.

Daniel graduated from Wakefield High School in the class of 1973.  He was proudly employed by Carvana.  Daniel was formerly from Wakefield, Massachusetts currently residing in Framingham with his beloved cats who meant the world to him.

Daniel is the beloved brother of Paul Schmidt and his wife Jean and the step brother of Michele Gaudin and her husband David.  He is the cherished uncle of McKenzie Schmidt, Tyler Schmidt, David Gaudin, Marc Gaudin and Ava Gaudin.  Daniel is also lovingly survived by many cousins & friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Daniel's Family on Saturday, November 15th from 8:30am - 9:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Daniel's Eternal Life will be held on Saturday, November 15th at 10am in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham.  Interment Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
