Danny Gallant

Danny J. Gallant of Gardner, formerly of Wakefield passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Umass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. He was 66 years of age.

Born on July 13, 1947 in Mexico, Maine, Danny was the loving son of the late Theresa Gallant. Danny was a warm and loving man who made everyone smile. He will be missed by all who were privileged to have known him.

Danny was a loyal and dedicated employee to the Polaroid Corporation for 28 plus years before becoming disabled and retiring.
Danny was the husband of Ruth (Zaafarani) Gallant . He was the very proud and devoted father of Rachel Gallant, and son in law to be; Michael Selig. Danny was the cherished nephew of Leo "Big brother" and Gloria Zutatus of Gardner, MA and Anna Brundage of Syracuse, New York. He was a dear friend to many and especially loved all his new friends at Haywood.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 5-7pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) Stoneham. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available.

Burial will take place on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 12pm in St. John's Cemetery in Rumford, Maine.
