David L. Bray
August 15, 1924 — March 11, 2005
David L. Bray died peacefully at home surrounded by his family and cat King Farouk on Friday, March 11, 2005. He was 80 years of age.
Beloved husband of Kathleen Lang - Bray, he was brother to Carol Moeller and Donald H. Bray; step-father to Scott, Pete, Buck and Duff Lang; grandfather to Rebecca and David Bowen and Candy Sim and great-grandfather to Cameron, Emma and Aden.
David never missed an episode of Gunsmoke and the O'Reilly Factor. He was a "tinkerer" and could creatively fix anything including pianos. A jazz afficiando and drummer, he enjoyed many concerts of the Stoneham Common and watching his sister play the piano at the Concord Inn. He was a Veteran of WW II, 5th Army Air Force, a Mason and had several careers.
A Celebration of David's life will be held on Thursday at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours prior from 9:30-11:00. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
