David T. Gill

May 30, 1941 — July 19, 2013

David T. Gill of Woburn, formerly of Everett passed away suddenly on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. He was 72 years of age.





Born in Stoneham, David was the loving son of the late Joseph N. Gill and Rosetta (Laforet) Gill. David was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, cousin and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.





David was a former principal partner of Souza, True & Partners, Inc. where he designed many local and international buildings. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. David enjoyed cross country skiing and snow shoeing. He liked canoeing and spending time with his family and friends at his log cabin known as Camp David in New Hampshire.





David was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Madden) Gill. He was the devoted father of Matthew D. Gill and his fiance Desha Crownover and Elizabeth A. Restivo and her husband David. David was the dear brother of Donald J. Gill, M.D. and his late wife Judith and the loving cousin and best friend of Thomas Gaff. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday, July 23rd, 2013 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating David's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Monday, July 22nd, 2013 from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Valet parking and handicapped elevator are available.
