David B. Harrison of Reading passed away on Friday, September 12, 2008 at Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford. He was 72 years of age.
Born in Boston, David was the loving son of the late Edward F. Harrison and Rose A. (Burns) Harrington. David was a warm and caring husband, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed.
David was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School class of 1954. David loved Reading Mens Softball, watching local auto racing and listening to his police scanner.
David was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
David was the beloved husband of the late Judith L. (McGilvreay) Harrison. He was the devoted father of Edward Harrison and his wife Pam of Reading, Debra Leger and her husband Jeffrey of Wilmington, David Harrison, Jr. of Reading and Donald "Lou" Harrison and his wife Barbara of Dracut. David was the cherished grandfather of Jessica Harrison, Jeffrey Leger, Jr., Justin Leger and Rebecca Harrison. Loving Step Grandfather of Chris Tucker and Christopher Rule.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Monday from 4-8 pm at the Joseph Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden Street, READING. Parking is available in the Municipal Parking Lot on Linden St. Funeral Service is Private.
