David M. McIver Jr.

David M. McIver Jr. of Stoneham passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024.  He is 82 years of age.

Born on Thursday, August 28, 1941 in Boston, David is the loving son of the late David M. McIver and Rufine (Power) McIver.  David is a warm, loyal & kind son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed.

David was employed with the Town of Stoneham where he worked retired as a Senior Medical Driver for 10 years.  He was a devoted member of the Redmen Club of Stoneham for a number of years where he held a position, the American Legion of Malden for 30 years, Moose Lodge 1910 for 25 years and a Teamster for Local 25 for 25 years.

From 1959 - 1963, David proudly defended our freedom by serving in the United States Marine Corps.

David is the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Conlin) McIver.  He is the devoted father of Michael T. McIver, Danielle T McIver, the late Deirdre M Morrison and her surviving husband Thomas, Kerri Wells and her husband Robert and Maryrose Villwock and her husband Henry.  The cherished grandfather of 9, David is the doting great grandfather of 10.  He is the dear brother of Maureen Mayo and her husband Richard, Claire O’Sullivan and her husband Brendan and Kathleen Rose.  David is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Funeral Service Celebrating David's Eternal Life will be held on Monday, January 22nd at 12pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM.  Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with David's Family prior to the service beginning at 10am.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.  Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, West Peabody.
