David McNeil

David McNeil of Malden, formerly of Chelsea and Revere passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was 69 years of age.

Born on February 27, 1949 in Chelsea, David is the loving son of the late David McNeil and Mary F. (Enos) McNeil. David is a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed.

David is an avid golfer who loved his family. He cherished his golfing vacations with his wife in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. David was an umpire for the Amateur Softball Association for many years.

David is the beloved husband of Sandra J. (Tripp) McNeil. He is the devoted father of David V. McNeil, Heather R. McNeil, Donna A. Strong and her husband Brian and Amy B. Kennedy and her late husband Joseph. The cherished grandfather of Leah, Jonathan, Hannah and Cameron, David is the dear brother of Mary Olson and her husband Jimmy, Barbara DeSimone, Catherine Lanzillo and her husband Bobby, Ruth McNeil and John McNeil and his wife Nadine. David is the brother in law of Sharon Tripp. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service Celebrating David's Eternal Life will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Thursday, April 12th from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
