Dolores Rose (Conti) Surette

Dolores Rose (Conti) Surette, 82, formerly of Reading, Massachusetts passed away on Thursday, May 10th, 2018 at Bethesda North Tri Health Hospital in Cincinnati. Born in Woburn, Mass, she is the loving daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Rogers) Conti.

She was a graduate of Reading Memorial High School. She worked for several local businesses including: Reading Savings Bank, Wakefield Saving Bank, and Charette. She faithfully attended mass at St. Agnes and St. Athanasius.

Dolores loved to watch her children and grandchildren compete in various sporting events or perform at school functions. She loved to go on shopping excursions with her dear friends. She often wrote sweet poems to her children on birthdays and at Christmas. More than anything, she loved her family.

Dolores is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Michelle. She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 60 years, Richard Surette and her four loving children Karen Farris, Rick Surette and his wife Paula, Kevin Surette and his wife Diane, and Tracy Johnson. She is the cherished grandmother to ten grandchildren, the loving sister of Barbara Green and her husband John, Gail Farris, and John Conti and his wife Sandy, as well as the aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St., READING, on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2018 at 9:30am followed by a funeral mass celebrating Dolores' Eternal Life at St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 10:30am.

Family and friends are codirally invited to gather and share memories with her family at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8pm. Interment will be at Wood End Cemetery.
