Domenic A. DiGiorgio

December 2, 1942 — February 9, 2021

Domenic DiGiorgio, of Stoneham, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He passed peacefully with his family there from natural causes. Dom was 78 years old and leaves behind his loving wife of 36 years, Gaye Piechowiak, his first wife Rosalie DiNapoli, and his three children; Alexandra Arnow and her husband Alex, Michael DiGiorgio and his wife Jill and Carla Mattuchio and her husband Steve and his 5 grandchildren; Sasha Arnow, Cameron and William DiGiorgio, Jordan and Logan Mattuchio. He also leaves behind many, many life long friends from his long career in architecture.

Dom was a strong stubborn, caring, giving man who cared deeply for his family and friends and would help anyone with anything. He had a wonderful life doing exactly what he wanted. He started his own architectural firm, DiGiorgio Associates, Inc, in 1984 which he retired from in 2013 and shortly after started another smaller firm. He always had to be useful and active. He loved watching his grandchildren grow up and always loved playing with them and building things for them. He will be missed beyond words by so many people.

In lieu of flowers, Dom would greatly appreciate donations to the Boston Architectural Center where he received his degree in architecture or to his wife's passion, the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society in Salisbury.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Friday February 12, 2021 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 4 pm to 8 pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.
