Dominic L. Forgitano of Melrose passed away on Thursday May 30, 2002. He was 87 years of age.
Born in Chelsea, Mr. Forgitano was a resident of Melrose for many years. He was a dedicated member of the Moose Lodge.
Dominic loved children. He loved being with people and his warm, friendly smile reflected the wonderful friendships he made over the years. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son and friend. He will be missed by all.
Dominic was the beloved wife of the late Rose Forgitano(Moreschi). He was the devoted father of Ronald E. Forgitano and his wife Gloria of Wakefield, formerly of Stoneham and the late Richard W. Forgitano of the Malden Police Department. Dominic was the cherished grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 16.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours at the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (Rte. 28) STONEHAM on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham on Monday June 3, 2002. 10 a.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Saugus.
