Smith, Donald E. – of Reading, Dec. 20th. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Thibodeau). Father of Dawn Asmar and her husband Mark of Somerset, Cheryl Smith and her husband Brian Philbin of RI and William Smith and his wife Carol of Andover. Son of the late Everett and Lillian (Lockwood) Smith. Brother of Gerald Smith of NH, Shirly DiRusso of Wilmington and Lawrence Smith of Hyannis. Grandfather of Richard Dupre and great grandfather of Henry Dupre. Donald is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family all immediate services are being privately held. Memorial service to be set at a later date. Donald served his country proudly in the US Navy during WWII.
