Devoted father of Elaine Hanifan-Swigard and her husband Bret, Maureen Hagan and her husband James and Joanne Lightfoot and her husband Jeffrey. Cherished grandfather of Seth, Cassidy, Grady, Jillian, Maxwell, Kelsey and Wyatt. Dear brother of Joan Murphy, Robert Hanifan, and the late Charles Hanifan.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Donald's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Visiting hours Friday, September 27, 2013 from 3:30-7:30 pm in the Funeral Home.
