Donald O. Hatch of Stoneham, formerly of Medford passed away on August 4, 2004 at his home in Stoneham. He was 58 years of age.
Born in Pittsfield, Donald was the son of the late Ralph L. Hatch and Marion (Small) Hatch. Donald was a loving and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all.
Donald graduated from Pittsfield High School in the class of 1964. He attended Berkshire Community College and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. While at Berkshire Community College, Donald was involved in the theatre. Donald's father, Ralph was a 30 year employee at General Electric in Pittsfield.
Donald had a love for his family that went unparalleled. They were first and foremost in his life. Donald was a self employed Insurance Inspector. In his spare time, Donald loved hunting and fishing.
Donald was the beloved husband of Nancy (Bruzzo) Posey - Hatch. He was the devoted father of Garrett Hatch of Chelmsford, Theron Hatch of Los Angeles, West Posey and his wife Kelly of Malden. Donald was the cherished grandfather of Tiffany Michelle Posey and the dear brother of Phillip Hatch and his wife Betsy of FL.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Saturday 4-8pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 7:30pm with Reverend Thomas Coots officiating.
