Donald William "Jack" Kerrigan

Donald William Kerrigan, also known as Jack, of Vero Beach, Florida, formerly of Stoneham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at the age of 85.

Born in Boston on July 9, 1940, Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1959 to 1965. Following his military service, he dedicated 25 years of his life as a firefighter for the City of Medford, a role he served with courage and pride.

Originally from Charlestown, Donald spent most of his life in Stoneham, creating a warm and loving home for his family. During the summers of his 40s, 50s, and 60s, he could often be found enjoying time with family and friends at Old Orchard Beach, a place that brought him great joy and lasting memories.

Donald was a devoted family man who loved being surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Kerrigan, his son Michael Kerrigan and his wife Nicole; his daughters Sandra Moriarty and her husband Robert and Kelly Kerrigan. He was the proud grandfather of Arissa, Ashley Savino and her husband Jerry, Ivan, Brooke, Blake, Marinda, Olivia, and great-grandfather of Jerry Jr. Donald was the brother in-law to Raymond and his wife Nancy Toussaint and Robert and his wife Karen Toussaint, Donna Toussaint. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Paul Kerrigan. Survived by his brothers Robert Kerrigan, and James Kerrigan.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on September 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Reception will follow.

Jack will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
