Donna M. (Rosa) Murphy

Donna M. (Rosa) Murphy of Stoneham passed away on Friday, July 12th, 2024. She is 70 years of age. 

Born on Thursday, April 15, 1954 in Cambridge, Donna is the loving daughter of the late William Rosa and Mary (Bennett) Rosa. Donna is a gentle, kind, loyal, selfless and caring daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed. 

Donna was born and raised in Cambridge and moved to Stoneham 36 years ago where she raised her three children. Donna loved the ocean and spent much of her life enjoying the beaches of Plum Island and Cape Cod with family and friends. 

Donna is the beloved mother of Brian Murphy, Christopher Murphy and his wife Christine and Jamie Murphy. She is the cherished grandmother of Ryan and Shawn Murphy. The dear sister of William Rosa and his wife Janet and Mary Rosa, Donna is the caring aunt of Marybeth, Kristen, Jenny and Kevin. She is also lovingly survived by many cousins and friends. 

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Donna’s Family on Wednesday, July 17th from 4-8pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM. A Funeral Service Celebrating Donna’s Eternal Life will be held on Thursday, July 18th at 11am in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
