Doris F. (DiNitto) Mizen

Doris Flora (DiNitto) Mizen, of Cambridge, born October 14th, 1929, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday August 21, 2024. She was 94 years of age. 

Doris was a devoted mother to Patricia (Mizen) Smith of Little Elm, Texas formally Reading, Massachusetts. Laura (Mizen) and husband Bill Simmons of Bradford, New Hampshire, formally Cambridge and Lisa (Mizen) Mclellan and husband Jack Conti of Chester, New Hampshire formally Stoneham.

 Doris was a grandmother to Daniel Sugrue and wife Paula of Gloucester, Massachusetts, Jacqueline Wensel and husband Ryan of Aubrey, Texas and Taylor Edwards and husband Hunter of Lewisville, Texas. Grandson Billy Simmons Jr. and fiancé Nicole Erwin of Tewksbury. Doris is also survived by five great grandchildren, Ariana and Karsyn Wensel, Jameson Sugrue, and Lucy and Ava Simmons. 

Doris was a beloved sister to Flora Valente of Somerville, Raymond (Sonny) DiNitto of Somerville, Agatha Patrick of Cerritos, California and the late Margaret Cavallaro, Nancy Spinosa, Mary Schwartz, Annie Calderon, Vincent DiNitto, Angelo DiNitto, Cosmo DiNitto, Daniel DiNitto. And devoted lifelong friend to Jean Fay of Nashua, New Hampshire. 

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Saturday August 24th, 2024 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 9 am to 11 pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Doris' Eternal Life at 11. Parking attendants and elevator available. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
