DeRosa, Dorothy J. "Dolly" (Catalano)- of Reading, died on December 28 after a brief struggle with brain cancer.  Predeceased by her husband and one true love, Raymond R. "Lefty" DeRosa.  Beloved mother of Raymond R. DeRosa, Jr. of North Reading, Ronald R. DeRosa and his wife Linda  of Dracut, Randy R. DeRosa and his fiancée Carola Hagenau of Castle Rock, Colorado and Darleen DeRosa and her wife Ronda of Half Moon Bay, California.  Also survived by her former daughters-in-law and the mothers of five of her grandchildren, Vasiliki DeRosa of Colts Neck, New Jersey and Karen DeRosa of Castle Rock, Colorado.  Adored Nana of Raymond III, Ermilo, Brianna, Nicholas, Anthony, Samantha, Christopher, Lorenzo and Francesca. Daughter of the late Guiseppe and Francesca (Zagarella) Catalano, who were born in Caltanissetta, Sicily and lived in Boston, Massachusetts.   Much loved sister of Emmanuel "Manny" Catalano, Mary Scopa, Phyllis Amoroso, Rose DiFraia, Josephine Gagliardi, Joseph Catalano, Angelo Catalano, Frances Cannata, Angelina Toscano and Robert Catalano.   Special sister to Josephine, and loving auntie of many nieces and nephews, with a unique connection to Donna Vaccari, Caryn White and Lynn Williamson.  Loving Godmother to one goddaughter, Laurie Carney (DeRosa). Active and vital until shortly before her death, Dolly was a member of the Reading Community Singers and the Reading Council on Aging. Funeral from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St. and Rte. 28) NORTH READING, at Reading line, on Saturday, Jan. 4 at 9:30am.  Funeral Mass in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St., Reading at 10:30am.  Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Friday 4-8pm.  Interment to follow at Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Dolly's name to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill Street, Reading.
