Dorothy "Diamond Dot" DeVico of Reading formerly of Everett passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 85 years of age.
Born in Everett, Dorothy was the loving daughter of the late Michelina (Maffeo) and Antonio Pacillo. Dorothy was a warm and caring wife of the late Jerry "Jiggs" DeVico, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a woman with a great gift of creativity and artistic ability. Her smile would just light up a room and bring such warmth to our hearts. She will be sorely missed.
Dot was the devoted mother of Carol Ann Cerasuolo and her husband Anthony of Reading and Cheryl Ann Brown and her husband Robert of Everett. She was the cherished grandmother of Marisa Cerasuolo of North Andover and Marc Cerasuolo and his wife Giuseppina of Reading. Dot was the great grandmother of Rocco-Antonio. She was the dear sister of Lucy Carpenella, Gilda Tammaro, Mildred Murphy, Anthony Pacillo and the late Emma Bosco, Josephine Hadge, Michael Pacillo, Marji Bertone. She was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating Dorothy's Life will be held on Wednesday, July 14th in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham at 10 am.
