Dorothy M. (Babine) "Dot" Richards

Dorothy "Dot" M. (Babine) Richards died peacefully on October 15, 2015. She was 105 years old.

Dot was born on Ash Street in Reading on September 2, 1910 to Louis C. and Mary (Muse) Babine. She is the final surviving sibling of Richard, Margaret, Lawrence, Joseph and Louis, Jr. Her husband. W. Edward Richards, predeceased her in 1950.

Dot leaves three children, David and his wife Shirley, Laura Warren and Dotty Heselton and her husband Jim. She was also the beloved "Mum-Mum" to grandchildren Tom, Donna, Bob, Ray, David, Beth, Ron and Eric and great-grands to David, Tommy, Michael, Tyler, Kenzie, Zeke, Kylie, Nate, Cole, Sydney, Eva and Emma.

She lived in Reading, North Wilmington and Bedford, NH, until 2008 when she relocated back to Reading enjoying several years at Peter Sanborn Place.

Dot had a wonderful, long life and will be sorely missed. Love you Mum-Mum!

Funeral from the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden Street, READING, Tuesday, October 20th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Dot's Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Monday, October 19th from 3-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and ramped entrance available. Interment at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
