Dorothy E. (Cambareri) Zarella of Stoneham, formerly of Wakefield, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at The Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was 94 years of age.
Born on July 12, 1924 in Wakefield, Dorothy was the loving daughter of the late Albert Cambareri and Sophie (Pucko) Cambareri. Dorothy is a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Dorothy was a loyal and dedicated homemaker for many years. Her family was first and foremost in her life. Spending time with family meant the world to her.
Dorothy is the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Zarella. She is the devoted mother of Pamela J. Sullivan and her husband James and the late Charles J. Zarella Jr. The cherished grandmother Matthew Sullivan and his wife Hui, Kerri Lombardo and her husband Mark and Mark Sullivan and his wife Meg, Dorothy is the doting great grandmother of Caylee, Nathan, Taylor, Sean and Liam. She is the dear sister of Priscilla Stryke and the late Mary Redding and her late husband John. Dorothy is also lovingly survived by her nieces Karen Stryke and Cheryl Watkins.
A Celebration of Dorothy's Life will be conducted in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Wednesday, January 2nd from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
