Dorothy W. Fucile

October 8, 1933 — March 10, 2007

Dorothy W. (Holder) Fucile of Melrose, formerly of Somerville and Arlington, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford.





Born in Somerville, Dorothy was the loving daughter of the late Dewey Holder and Mary (Geary) Holder. Dorothy was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed.





Dorothy was a proud member of Verizon Pioneers. She was dedicated to her family. They were first and foremost in her life. Dorothy cherished the time she was able to spend with the people she cared most about.





Dorothy was the darling wife of Domenic J. Fucile Sr. She was the loving mother of Donna LaBella of Melrose, James of Assonet, Michael of Georgia, Domenic of Billerica and Gary of Wilmington. Dorothy was the dear sister of the late Ralph Holder. Dorothy was the adoring Nana of Melissa, Mark, Domenic, Kimberly, Nicole, Amanda, Colin and Lindsay. She was the great nana of Ryan, Kristiana and Ariana. Dorothy also leaves many loved nieces and nephews. She was the life long faithful friend of Fran and Charlie Faletra.





The family thanks all the staff at Glen Ridge Nursing for the excellent care tendered to Dorothy in her final years and the North Shore Hospice for their comfort and support in her final months.





Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Dorothy's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours, Monday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.





Remembrances in Dorothy's memory may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St. Danvers, MA 01923 or to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02472.
